Talk to us before you buy
Every item here is one of a kind, so there is no such thing as a silly question about it. Ask for another photograph, a closer look at the glass, or simply whether we would shoot with it ourselves.
Email us
We reply in English, usually within one business day. We are in Japan (JST, UTC+9), so a message sent in the evening in Europe or the Americas is normally answered by the time you wake up.
We answer in writing rather than by telephone. It means you have our answer about condition in a form you can keep, and nothing is lost between two languages.
What to tell us
You will get a faster and more useful answer if you include:
- The itemThe stock number at the end of the title, for example #P430, or just paste the link to the page.
- Your order numberIf you have already bought. It is in your confirmation email.
- What you want to know“Is the meter accurate?” and “can I see the rear element against a light?” are both fine. We will go and look.
- Your countryOnly if you are asking about delivery time or import duties.
Before you write
These four come up most often, and the answers are already on the site.
Who you are writing to
Kurakudo is a camera dealer in Japan. We buy, inspect and grade film cameras, lenses and accessories, and we ship them worldwide ourselves.
We also sell on eBay as world_camera_shop, where we are a Top-rated seller with 100% positive feedback over the last twelve months. It is the same stock, the same inspection and the same packing — this shop simply has no marketplace fee in the price.

We publish this because you are buying a used camera from the other side of the world from people you have never met, and you are entitled to know who they are. If you would like anything else confirmed before ordering, ask and we will tell you.
